If I do not manually remove the arguments ( -uia_exclude_ss -uia_exclude_hs uia_include=x) I get the following error: couldn't allocate runtime area boot failed.Īny help appreciated.

but how to get rid of them for good? I tried to clear NVRAM but got an error: nvram: error clearing firmware variables: (iokit/common) not permitted. I have read that maybe these are in NVRAM. I have to manually back them out on every boot. However, when I check Clover startup values via the GUI those values ( -uia_exclude_ss -uia_exclude_hs uia_include=x) are still persistent and appended to what I already have in the ist. My new USBkext file is working, and USBInjectAll.kext was deleted. I have removed all the boot arguments that were made in this process from the ist - ( -uia_exclude_ss -uia_exclude_hs uia_include=x).
Maybe someone else is having the same issues.
Well explained and very detailed and thanks for posting this. I now have 15 ports working on a Gigabyte Aorus Elite 390 with an 8700k.
